Director of Plant Operations
Castleview Hospital is currently seeking a high performing individual with a positive attitude to be hired as aDirector of Operations.
The applicant MUST be a selfstarter and be able to work individually and as part of a team in a fast paced and ever changing environment.
ThePlant Services Director is responsible for directing and coordinating all aspects of Plant functions through effective planning organizing and controlling department activities.
This role organizes and oversees all facets of the Plant Services Department.
Must have strong interpersonal oral and written communication skills.
Effective human relations skills are required for interfacing with team members all levels of staff physicians patients families and other contacts.
Must possess the ability to effectively function in a stressful environment.
Has a good to excellent knowledge of the following.
Cost estimating for inhouse and local projects.
Coordination of construction issues effecting existing Hospital Systems.
Owners representative regarding Physical Plant Issues.
Assist in Project Phase Planning.
Project Start up and Building Project Commissioning Has a good to excellent knowledge of the following systems.
Assist in Department Budget Preparation.
Operation and Planning and Implementation of a Formalized Preventive Maintenance Program as per Corporation Guidelines.

Hands on Working Knowledge of a Computerized PM and Utility Management Program.
In this case TMS Four Rivers Program.
Inventory Control.
Blue Print Reading.
Schematic Reading.
Work Management and Flow Process.
Service Contract and Administration.
Safety Committee Member and Capable of Chairing the Committee.
Emergency Preparedness involvement.
Safety Director Capability of and experience of serving as the Director.
Operations Budget Planning and Management of budget for the department.

Capital Budget Planning and Management of facility capitals needs Three outlook.
Construction Assist hospital administration with the planning budgeting of projects Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Must possess valid drivers license and proof of vehicle insurance.
