AP/AR Office Manager/Entry Level Controller

The APAR Office ManagerEntry Level Controller will be reporting to the General Manager and President and partnering with the Data Entry Clerk on finance and daily operation activities.
The APAR Office ManagerEntry Level is responsible for managing daytoday accounting and finance functions while effectively using the resources available to address financial issues on a micro and macro scale to secure the continued success of the organization.
The successful candidate must have a strong background in internal controls and will develop and maintain systems and workflows to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of accounting records.

Evaluate current financial and operating systems recommend improvements ensure compliance with appropriate federal state tribal and professional rules and regulations and assure appropriate written policies and procedures.

Maintains general ledger accuracy is responsible for monthly and yearend closing activities and ensures audit adjustments are minimized.

Oversees and manages operational cash flow.
.
Oversees the payroll process.
.
Maintains and utilizes specialized knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
.
Prepares budgets according to established calendar by setting schedules collecting analyzing and consolidating financial data recommending plans.
.
Monitors and reports benchmarks against the performance measure of company operations advising management on needed actions.

Oversee the accounting activities for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including but not limited to internal and external monthly financial statements annual audits annual budgets and tax filings.

Guides financial decisions by establishing monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures.
.
Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting internal audits providing information to external auditors if required.
.
Performs all customer billing in conjunction with the data entry clerk.
Complies and assures compliance with federal state and local government laws and regulations.
.
Performs miscellaneous jobrelated duties as assigned.

Participate and attend staffdepartment meetings and staff training.
.
Employee Safety Safely performs all duties follows required protective protocols to ensure personal safety as well the safety of others.

Other duties as assigned by General Manager or President.
.
A bachelors degree in finance accounting business or a related field Preferred not Required.
.
Experience in construction FinanceAccounting is preferred but not required.
.
Must have indepth knowledge of financial reporting revenue cycle management accounting budgeting accounts payable accounts receivable audit tax payroll information technology and materials management.

Must be able to demonstrate and effectively communicate the financial condition of the organization to the general manager and president.
.
Experience and indepth knowledge of Foundation is preferred but not required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
